West Fargo High School Drama Teacher Receives Honor

A local drama teacher receives statewide recognition for his work.

The Communication Speech and Theatre Association of North Dakota named Sheyenne High School’s Adam Pankow, the Director of the Year.

The award is nominated by colleagues and recognizes a peer for their exceptional performance as a director.

Pankow has been with the department for six years.

Under his guidance, the theatre program received its first championship title at the North Dakota Class “A” State One-Act Play.

“The other adults that commits to working with these students year after year, who commits working with me and who puts in the long hours and little pay sometimes with it. That’s what makes me a better individual and I think a big piece of this recognition for me,” says Sheyenne High’s Director of Theatre Adam Pankow
