Beethoven’s Sound Fills Concordia’s Halls
More than 400 students take on Beethoven for Concordia’s Masterworks Concert.
The concert features Concordia’s orchestra and five choirs, performing Beethoven’s Mass in C major.
The concert is an important final step for many graduating seniors.
They get one final chance to perform their work before going out and teaching it.
“It’s kind of a big deal for a lot of them because it’s this major work and to have the opportunity to do it, I remember when I was a student doing major choral works and I still remember them to this day those experiences,” says Concordia College Voice Professor, David Hamilton.
Even faculty had a chance to get in on the solo works.
Both faculty and students have been rehearsing for the past week.
