Spay-ghetti and No Balls Lunch Benefits Local Animal Shelter
A local animal shelter hosted a luncheon to raise awareness on getting pets fixed.
This was Homeward Animal Shelter’s second year presenting the Spay-ghetti and No Balls Lunch.
It was held at the Holiday Inn in Fargo.
There was no cost for the spaghetti lunch but donations were accepted.
A slideshow was presented to show the importance of this cause.
“Right here in our community, there is just way too much homeless animals. So again, we just want to educate the public on how important it is to spay and neuter your pets so we can prevent there being more homeless animals,” says Homeward Animal Shelter spokesperson Heather Klefstad.
All proceeds will benefit the shelter’s expenses towards spaying and neutering animals.
