YWCA Celebrates Empowering Women In F-M Area

Women in the F-M area are being honored for the 43rd annual YWCA Women of the Year.
 
More than 800 attended the celebration, breaking a record.

Each female nominee was selected by community members for their role in the area.

The nominees are said to have demonstrated passion for their community, service to women and children and are an inspiration to the next generation of leaders.

Our very own KVRR’s Rob Kupec’s wife, Doctor Deborah White is among the nominees.

“Women provides so much in our community and again, we just need to honor their passion in our community an d what drives us orient and celebrate that this evening,” says YWCA Executive Director Erin Prochnow.

Proceeds from this event will go to support YWCA’s mission and local women and children.
