Change of Plea Expected in Fort Berthold Killing

A man accused of choking to death another man on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation is expected to change his plea.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Marcel Chase is expected to plead guilty after reaching a deal that includes a reduced charge from murder to voluntary manslaughter.

Chase is accused of killing Toby Young Bear during a drug-fueled fight and trying to recruit people to help him hide the body.

He is facing a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
