Fargo Public School District Names Teacher of the Year
Teachers are invaluable to the community and far too often go unrecognized for their hard work, but not today.
Jennifer Kujanson, a second grade teacher at Ed Clapp Elementary, was named Fargo Public School District’s Teacher of the Year.
Fargo Superintendent Doctor Jeffery Schatz was on hand to deliver the big news in front of the entire student body.
“It’s gonna be harder this year than any other year. And she said, ‘That’s what you say every year.’ I said, ‘No, really, really this year…this year more than ever.’ Every year the kids just have a more special place in my heart,” said Kujanson.
Kujanson was selected based on enthusiastic testimonials from colleagues and parents, who all say she is passionate about education and her students.
She has been a teacher with Fargo Public Schools since 1994.
