Are People Set On Any Of The Remaining Candidates?

Donald Trump is the only candidate left running for the GOP nomination and is predicted to go head to head with Hillary Clinton.

Voters have less than six months to decide on whom they want as the next President but are people more concerned than ever?

Bernie Sanders is still battling it out with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Nomination.

But her delegate lead makes his chances slim.

But are people set on any of the remaining candidates or has this created more fear?

“I’m a little concerned because I don’t think that Donald Trump can even talk to a room full of kindergartens. I just don’t know how he can lead our nation. I’m afraid,” says Shelly Varpness of Eagan, Minnesota.

“He would upset balances in society. There would be so much rancor, it would be like, ‘What did we just do? ‘So I have that fear of him,” says Rick Hilber of Fargo.

It’s a growing fear that many across the country have.

Protests and fiery uproar are happening at almost every stop Trump makes.

But some still don’t think his opponents are any better.

“We don’t like any of the candidates, my wife and I. We would like a ‘none of the above’ option. We would vote that,” says Alan Rinehart of Jamestown.

The final two presidential candidates might look like they’re set in stone, but one political junkie still believes that things can turn on a dime.

“For Trump it would be the GOP that rises up in rebellion against the nomination of an outsider,” says Hilber.

The list of those saying they’re not attending the National GOP Convention grows and includes the Bush family.

This divide between the Republican elites and voters may cause more rifts than unity.

As for the Democratic Party, Hilber says Bernie Sanders can still take it all and win the whole race but it’s all up to the Golden State.

Hilber explains, “I think California has always had the edge of the future of this country. I don’t know why, maybe because it’s a jumping off point for the great Pacific Ocean. But the reality is California can really impact this.”

Clinton is around 100 delegates away from grabbing the party’s nomination.

The next primary election is Tuesday in West Virginia where Sanders has a slight lead.
