Fargo Woman With Blood Vessel Deformation Gets Community Help

The community is rallying for a Fargo woman who has a rare blood vessel deformation.

Sasha Lettow has Klippel-Trenauney Weber syndrome and has undergone multiple surgeries.

Her only option is to have her leg amputated.

Supporters bought plane ride tickets, homemade goodies and bid in a silent auction to help her family pay medical expenses.

They were able to fly in an airplane for 20 minutes around Fargo for $20.

“You always have a certain perspective about people in your town and you get one perspective about it, so then you get a little upset. But seeing everything else happen, seeing everyone here today, it changes your mind. There are so many good people in this town,” says Lettow.

The benefit continues Sunday from eight in the morning until dark.
