Moorhead School Construction on Schedule

Moorhead students are on summer vacation right now but when they get back to class in the fall they’re going to be greeted with a few changes.

Assistant Superintendent Brandon Lunak says all school construction projects are on budget and on schedule.

The new safety entrances for all the schools will be complete by the beginning of the school year.

“We hope to have those projects completed, SGR will be completed before the start of school and the other two, Aspen and Hopkins, those additions will be completed a little later but the entrance portion of it will be ready by the start of school,” Lunak says.

In addition to the safety entrances, the new elementary school and the fifth and sixth grade addition to Horizon Middle School are set to be complete by the fall of 2017.
