Link FM Ridership Spikes During Street Fair
Down town Fargo was packed with people during the street fair.
The Link FM bus was busy, too.
The free bus connects Downtown Fargo and Downtown Moorhead.
Stops are near popular locations where a bus stops every 15 to 20 minutes.
Over 4,000 people rode the bus during the street fair, that number is double what they counted last year.
“I just think many people don’t know it exists, and some of them think it only operates during the street fair. It operates year round! So we have people on there telling them that and it’s like no it’s not just today! You can come downtown anytime,” says Lori Van Beek, Moorhead Transit Manager
The Link FM bus is free for all ages, all the time.
