Detroit Lakes’ Art and Crafts in the Park

People often flock to Detroit Lakes for some water fun but many came this weekend to feast on the art.
 
More than 100 vendors filled City Park with a variety of arts and crafts.

Artists showed off everything from handmade jewelry to furniture.

People came near and far to rummage through the fair looking for treasures to take home.

“You can see all these crafts that you can get here for any kind of gifts instead of driving forever to a big city. It’s much more personal here,” says Dauna Rennaker of Park Rapids.
 
Fair food vendors like Oof-da Tacos and Mr. Lemonade were also there to help satisfy people’s summer appetite.
