FBI Offers Assistance In Maris Museum Burglary

The FBI is offering their services in the investigation of the burglary and vandalism at the Roger Maris Museum in West Acres.

The spokesperson for the FBI says they have not been formally asked to help but they are ready if needed.

West Acres officials say a lone burglar smashed a window of the mall and a glass display at the museum and stole the Hickok Belt valued between 90 and 140 thousand dollars.

The thief also stole Maris’ 1960 MVP plaque.

The burglary was caught on surveillance footage.
