Moorhead Dogs Looking for Foster Homes

Some local dogs are looking for a temporary home until they find their forever home.

The dogs you’re looking at are at 4 Luv of Dog Rescue in South Moorhead.

Volunteers say the shelter hopes to help dogs get use to human contact through fostering them, and even helping them find permanent homes.

The dogs here often come from pounds or were previously fostered.

“It would be great if one day, there didn’t need to be rescue organizations, because every dog would have a home,” Kish Hilmert, the founder of 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, said. “But so many dogs in our region are homeless, and they’re in local pounds, so they need the help of people that have big hearts and are willing to foster them until the can find their adoptive homes.”
