Moorhead Police Offers Citizens Police Academy

The Moorhead Police Department is once again offering its Citizens Police Academy.

They are looking for 24 community members to join the ten-week program.

The opportunity gives people a look into different parts of the police department.

You will participate in traffic stops, watch a K–9 demonstration and even shoot a gun.

The program is on Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm and kicks off on September 15.
