Carson Wentz Debuts for Philadelphia Eagles
Former NDSU quarterback Carson Wentz made his preseason debut with the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday. Wentz played the majority of the second half, coming in for his first snap late in the 2nd quarter.
After missing on his first passing attempt, Wentz completed his first pass as a professional with a strike on the run to Eagles tight end Zach Ertz. He was also effective rushing the ball.
Wentz did endure some bad during his debut, as he threw an interception in the red zone, stalling an otherwise efficient drive. Overall, Wentz finished 12-24 for 89 yards passing, while also rushing three times for 15 yards.
The Eagles continue the preseason next Thursday in Pittsburgh. Watch KVRR Local News at 9 for the highlights.
