Will Ratelle Impresses in Falcons Debut

Former North Dakota linebacker Will Ratelle made his NFL preseason debut with the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday…but not at linebacker.

Ratelle is playing fullback for Atlanta, and was effective in his first game on the offensive side of the ball. Ratelle threw a key block on the Falcons first touchdown of the preseason.

Then, on a 4th and short late in the second quarter, Falcons quarterback Matt Schaub found Ratelle wide open in the flat for a first down. It was Ratelle’s only catch of the game, and it went for nine yards.

The Falcons continue the preseason next Thursday night in Cleveland. Watch KVRR Local News at 9 for the highlights.
