YWCA Baby Shower Helping Those in Need

You’re invited!

The YWCA Baby Shower is taking place this weekend for the community to help those in need.

During the annual baby shower at the University Drive K-Mart, you can either buy or drop off donations for mothers and young children.

Some items featured on the wish list include diapers, baby lotion, double strollers, sleep safety equipment and baby monitors.

Items donated can be either new or gently used.

“All the mothers are very appreciative and helps them just get back on their feet and then a lot of them start going back to school with assistance from the Y they’ll be able to live out on their own,” said Lauren Beneke, Chair for the YWCA Baby Shower.

If you would like to donate or pick up a few items, there is still time.

The baby shower will run until October 22nd, at 3pm.
