A Baby Shower For the Community Continues This Weekend

The weekend long baby shower stocks up more items along the way for new mothers in need.

So far the YWCA has received diapers, a stroller, and $50 gift certificates to use as they please.

The Baby shower began on Friday, and Altrusa is encouraging the community to continue to come out to support women and young children in need.

Items still on the wish list include car seats, books and purified water.

“These women come with nothing. So we depend on the community to take care of the women and the children,” says Volnteer at Altrusa, Shirley Moen.

Members of Altrusa express how grateful they are, for all of the donations.
