Fargo Teen Gets 12 Years for Attempted Kidnapping, Robbery at West Acres Mall

The teen that attacked a woman outside of JCPenney at West Acres Mall in 2014 is sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Abdirahman Sahel, 18, was convicted in September of robbery, terrorizing, assault and attempted kidnapping.

He was given credit for already serving more than two years in jail.

Sahel was 15 at the time of the attack.

He is scheduled to stand trial next Tuesday for sexually assaulting a woman in the Holiday Inn parking lot in 2013.
