UND Fighting Hawks Merchandise Sales Meeting Expectations

School has been back in session for a few months, and the new UND Fighting Hawks logo is being seen across campus.

Although the new logo has met some resistance from fans, many have begun to embrace the change.

More formal items like polo shirts have been selling well to faculty.

Sales of more casual items like t–shirts are beginning to pick up as of late.

Overall, sales of apparel with the new logo are keeping up with expectations.

“We actually had to place several reorders and now we’re working on getting a better product mix in and kind of making sure that everything we have has that new logo on it and students are looking for it,” said UND Bookstore Manager Griffin Gillespie.

Sales of Fighting Hawks merchandise have been boosted by the school’s new Spirit Friday tradition.

Apparel with the school’s new logo has been available since the middle of August.
