Police Investigate Possible Stabbing in North Fargo

Officers responded to a call of a possible stabbing at about 11:30 Friday night.

Fargo Police Lieutenant Chris Helmick tells KVRR the victim was first spotted at the Family Fare Grocery store at 724 North University Drive.

Witnesses say the male had an injury to his neck and police found him just behind the store at a home located at 730 College Street North.

Lt. Helmick says the investigation is still in the early stages but they did detain a female who may have been involved.

No information is available on the victim, who was transported to the hospital.

Lt. Helmick says there is no threat to the public.
