“Awesome Arts Afternoon” Teaches Kids That Art Can Be Fun

It’s getting colder outside but there’s plenty of fun for kids to enjoy indoors.

The Fargo Park District hosts a monthly free “awesome art afternoon” where kids can build different crafts to take home.

This month, kids made beaded corn, headbands and colored turkeys.

The event isn’t just for kids, it’s encouraged to be a family affair.

“We really recommend parent involvement, especially for when we do get busier. It’s really important for us to see that parents are interacting with their kids, because it’s really important for kids to have that time with their family,” said Ashleigh Vogel from the Fargo Park District.
