SpartanNash and Family Fare Supermarkets Team Up to Give Back

The Roger Maris Cancer Center received a generous donation.

A check worth $19,254.89 was presented to the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

The donation was on behalf of the fundraising effort from SpartanNash and Family Fare Supermarkets in Fargo, West Fargo and Moorehead.

Money was collected from Family Fare’s annual 61 for 61 fundraiser cookout in September from customer donations at check–out.

“We really enjoy being a part of it,” said Jason Bossert, who is Store Director of Family Fare Supermarket of West Fargo. “Every family in one form or another has been touched by cancer and we love being there to help out the community.”

SpartanNash and Family Fare stores have donated more than $220,000 to the Roger Marris Cancer Center in the past 13 years.
