NDSU Guard Khy Kabellis Decides to Transfer

Sophomore Kabellis notifies NDSU of intent to transfer.

FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State guard Khy Kabellis will not be playing in a Bison uniform next season, according to the university.

Kabellis intends to transfer from NDSU.

“We thanked Khyber for his efforts in his short time here,” Head Coach David Richman said in a statement from NDSU. “We take great pride in serving our past, current and future student-athletes within our family. We look forward to serving and working with our committed group of returning and incoming student-athletes.”

In his sophomore season, Kabellis started all 30 games for the Bison, averaging 11.2 points per game, 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Kabellis has not announced where he intends to transfer, but he will have to sit out a year based on NCAA rules.
