New Buttons Look to Bring Fergus Falls Business Community Together

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. — A group promoting economic development in the greater Fergus Falls area rolls out a new fashion statement supporting its city.

The Greater Fergus Falls Corporation wants its message to stick to people by passing out buttons around town.

The buttons are part of a greater campaign to revitalize and attract economic activity to the city.

Fergus Falls Mayor Ben Schierer says the buttons will encourage optimism as the city moves towards the future.

“We’re in this together. We’re wearing a button because you believe in the mission, you believe in where this community is going, so it’s a message of solidarity. We’re all going in the same direction, so just to make sure everyone is on the same page and working together to find the solutions we need as a community. We’re excited,” said Schierer.

People can get their hands on the buttons at city hall or at the Greater Fergus Falls Corporation headquarters downtown.
