Family Fare Raises Money for Habitat for Humanity: How You Can Help

Three Family Fares in the F-M Area are participating

WEST FARGO, N.D. — Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with three Family Fares in the F–M area to raise money to put people in new homes.

Family Fare gives customers the opportunity to help out other members of their community by donating a small amount of cash. Shoppers have the option to donate $1, $5, or $10 at the checkout.

Habitat for Humanity is a group dedicated to getting local people into homes of their own.

“The community gets an individual that may not get into a house, get into their own house. It’s just a good event for everybody,” Steve Asheim, store director of Family Fare, said.

The campaign started on Feb. 6 and ends on Sunday, Feb. 17.

The goal is to raise $180,000.
