Fire in Attic Causes $60,000 in Damage to Fergus Falls House

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Three people are out of their home after a fire caused extensive damage in Fergus Falls.

It was reported about 10:30 Monday morning.

The fire started in the attic and it took some time to remove smoldering insulation.

There is fire damage to the rafters and electrical wiring with smoke damage through the house.

Damage is estimated at $60,000.

The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical wire in the attic.
