Murder By Poisoning: Minot Woman Accused of Murdering Boyfriend For Inheritance

MINOT, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Court documents in the case of a Minot woman accused of using anti-freeze to poison her long-time boyfriend say she expected to inherit millions upon his death.
47-year-old Ina Kenoyer is charged with AA felony murder, the most severe murder charge in North Dakota.
She was arrested after a more than month-long investigation into the death of 51-year-old Steven Riley.
She told investigators she was entitled to some of Riley’s inheritance as his common-law wife and planned to split the money, which she estimated to be about $30 million, with his son.
The criminal complaint says Kenoyer believed Riley was going to leave her after he received the inheritance.
