Twins’ Bremer Calls It On Calls After 40 Years

Minnesota Twins Play-By-Play Broadcaster Dick Bremer Moves On To Front Office Role

MINNEAPOLIS — Legendary Twins broadcaster Dick Bremer has called his last game. The play by play savant tweeted a thank you to fans this morning. The tweet included a picture of him fishing and read,

“A final left-hand toast to Twins fans everywhere. Thanks for an incredible 40-year run! It was MY pleasure.”

His Twins broadcasting career began in 1983 and ended with him having served as the longest-tenured television broadcaster for a single team in MLB. This is not a retirement however, a few hours after the announcement news broke that Braymer will be joining the Twins front office as a special assistant.
