New allegation against former WFPS administrator; this time from a student
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – The West Fargo School District says it has been notified by law enforcement of a new allegation against former Independence Elementary School Principal David George that is related to a student.
George, 39, faces several felony child pornography charges. He’s also charged with gross sexual imposition with a victim under the age of 15 and solicitation of a minor.
He has entered not guilty pleas to the child porn charges. His next court appearance is set for November 16.
In a message to parents, Superintendent Beth Slette said the district cannot elaborate since it’s part of an ongoing investigation. Cass county prosecutors said George had videos and pictures of obscene material, mostly boys, who were believed to be between five and 14.
In the past, the district said that none of the charges against George involved a student. George remains in the Cass County Jail with bond set at $250,000.
The State Bureau of Criminal Investigation is the lead agency in the case.
