NDSU’s Alpha Gamma Delta helps give decoration ideas with Homes for the Holidays fundraiser

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) –The Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at NDSU has been hosting the homes for the holidays event for 35 years.

“Homes for the Holidays” is hosted by Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, the alumni from the sorority for the last 35 years. And this year we have six homes that are on the tour in South Fargo and West Fargo that are decorated by local vendors like home furniture and Scheels and lots of really great other places.” Says Alpha Gamma Delta Alumni Alyssa Stasch.

This event is hosted each year to help support a local foundation of the sororities choosing.

“It is an event that we raise money for a local organization. This year part of the proceeds are going to the backpack program at the Great Plains food bank “ said Stasch.

Other than giving back to the community the event means a lot to the sorority’s past and present members as it allows them to reconnect.

Stasch also said. “I mean I think it’s a great way for the alumni in our sorority to kind of come back together and give back and the active members in our sorority kind of help out volunteering and just a great way for us to kind of come back together for a common cause we are all passionate about.”

Last year the homes for the holidays donated to the Jeremiah Program.
