Man bowls perfect game at Sunset Lanes

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Perfection is hard to come by. But one Fargo man found it on Monday after he bowled a perfect game at Sunset Lanes.

Josh Arneson sealed the deal and cemented his legacy in the region for bowling. A perfect game, scoring 300, is a rare feat. Even if the conditions are perfect, the lanes are oiled and you’re on top of your game, it is still 11-thousand and five to one odds according to bowling experts. Arneson said the nerves started to settle in as he closed in on perfection.

“Usually that happens in the sixth, seventh frame. Last night the nerves came in and I thought, after I got the ninth frame I got a chance. Anytime you get to the ninth frame you’ve got a chance.” said Arnenson.

Arneson says he was taught how to bowl by KVRR’s Alison Voorhees’ grandfather.
