Pro Football comes to Fargo with the Fargo-IFL Gridiron Classic

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The first Fargo-IFL Gridiron Classic is coming this spring and includes a team that could be making Fargo its home.

The Bucks are hosting the classic along with Scheels Arena.

It’ll feature Sioux Falls Storm taking on Massachusetts Pirates on April 27th.

The teams general manager has been in talks with arenas all over the state trying to find the best spot for his team and thinks Fargo could be the right fit.

General Manager of the Bismarck Bucks Greg Schuh said, “With NDSU there right there’s a great football fan base to begin with and people there really want to go out and support family entertainment in Fargo and that’s what the bucks are all about so we think this is a good match right now.”

He says discussions with Scheels Arena are further along than any other arena.
