Fargo gas prices drop below $3 per gallon

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Gas prices around Fargo are flirting with the $3 per gallon mark for the first time since April.

The decline comes after gas prices peaked at just over $4 per gallon on September 13th.

According to GasBuddy.com, you can find gas for as low as $2.89 at Costco and Sam’s Club, but you need to be members to get those prices.

Other stations have it around $2.93.

North Dakota is one of six states where gas prices are below the $3 mark.

Right now, around three percent of the state’s gas stations are selling it at that price.

The statewide gas average is on course to fall another 25 to 30 cents in the coming weeks.
