NDSU to introduce new program to lower tuition for the 2024-2025 school year

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — NDSU is introducing a new program to help lower their students’ tuition payments and fees for the 2024-2025 school year.

Called the NDSU tuition award program, it will help north dakota and minnesota students if eligible.

Pell-eligible students with family income levels of $80,000 or less will have base tuition and student fees fully covered, if they are in their first or second year at NDSU. Seinquis Leimen, the senior director of strategic enrollment , commented, “The Program is available to eligible students from North Dakota and Minnesota  who demonstrate financial need”

Leinen also said, “ We anticipate this is going to impact about 1000 students at NDSU next year. The amount will largely be dependent upon the information we receive from their FAFSA which will open later on this december so the ward amounts will vary by student depending on their financial aid packages”

The application to be admitted to NDSU to be eligible for the scholarship is now open.

Student forms to determine eligibility for federal, state and school aid will be available in December.
