What to look for when picking your Christmas tree this year
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The holiday season is upon us and people are already starting to put up their Christmas trees. Businesses and towns are opening up their tree farms and nurseries for those looking to add a real tree to their home.
But before you buy that tree, you might want to consider how it will fit.
“Kind of want to think about what height you want in your house or apartment. Kind of the standard size would be that seven to eight foot. So most of us have that eight foot ceiling that is going to fit really nice.” said Rachel Sailer, the operations manager at Baker Garden & Gift
A taller tree will have a wider base, which takes up more room. You also have to keep the tree watered, so it doesn’t dry out and die.
Baker’s is also hosting Christmas tree workshops.
