Fargo Park District hosts Broadway Square Tree Lighting Ceremony
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – People gather at Broadway Square in downtown Fargo for the fourth annual tree lighting ceremony.
Fargo Park District lit its 32 foot tall tree for the holiday season.
The event had many other attractions like local food vendors, reindeer, and live music.
Second Avenue was blocked off this year to make way for campfires where s’mores kits were handed out.
Fargo Parks Districts Tori Benders says. “As the Fargo Park district we love this time of year. It’s the time for the entire community to gather together. No matter your tradition or what you celebrate and really just kick off the holiday season and then go into thanksgiving, spend that with family and friends but here is an opportunity to gather together, kick off the season and really find some joy in just being here together downtown.”
