Former Bison Reed Ryan dies after cardiac arrest

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – After beating Drake 66-3 on Saturday in the first round of the FCS playoffs, NDSU Head Coach Matt Entz, opened his post-game press conference letting people know about the passing of former player, Reed Ryan. Coach Entz said Ryan had a cardiac arrest on Tuesday.

Ryan, who was a native of Waunakee, Wisconsin, was last on the Green and Gold in 2022.

Coach Entz said the team played with heavy hearts during their playoff game against Drake.
