ArtWORKS Program Brings Cheer to Holiday Flyers

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Traveling during the holiday season can be extremely stressful. Hector International Airport hosted the ArtWORKS program to help relieve some of that stress.

The ArtWORKS program and Hector will host a musical performance each week until December 22nd.

Today’s performance to kick off the festivities was the Dakota Brass Quintet.

The Artworks Partnership hosts the program to help holiday travelers relax a little before their flight.

“We started doing music because music helps travelers kind of relax and for the holiday season I kind of personally curated these because having a big brass band like that or some of the other bands that will be playing just gives a little oomph to the holiday season.” Said Tanya Blanich from The Art Partnership.

Next week’s performer will be the Matthew Patnode Trio on December 8th.
