Alleged shots fired After Vehicle Burglary in Moorhead and Clay County
CLAY CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Shots were fired early this morning in Clay County, according to the sheriff’s office, after an attempted vehicle break-in led to a chase between the victim and suspect.
It started in the 2000 block of 8th Avenue North in Moorhead and it ended up in the area of 70th Street and 28th Avenue North.
That is where the victim says two shots were fired at him.
The female suspect was in a maroon Chevy Suburban.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting advises you not to confront suspects.
“It’s important, just for your safety not to do that. The best advice we can give is be the best witness that you can. Observe everything that is happening. What the people are wearing. Their hair color, approximate height,” said Empting.
If you have any information about this case you’re asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
