Elevate Canine Academy opens new branch in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)- A new dog training academy opened up in Fargo that does dog training differently. Elevate Canine Academy based in Bismarck opened up a new branch in Fargo in early November.

This new academy specializes in training reactive dogs and helping them interact with other dogs safely.

They offer the general obedience and the day training program, which is special to them and say works very well. Kyle Baltrusch, Owner of Elevate Canines Academy, said, “We have what’s called a day training program, and think of it like a day care where the dog comes in the morning and gets picked up in the afternoon and most programs are not like that.

Baltrusch also said, “Most programs are you drop your dog off, you leave him there for a few weeks, or its a one on one, you come in, so we’re putting the legwork in getting the dogs around a lot of other dogs, around a lot of people, so they can get the exposure.”

For this program, the dog gets trained 7 hours a day with other dogs, and included a half hour one on one training with your dog.
