Teaching kids about kindness through elves

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Working like Santa’s little elves, these kids in West Fargo are making gifts for people all across the region. Through the Kindness Elves initiative, the kids are being taught lessons about giving back to the community.

“It’s just such a teaching moment,” said Kellee Hann. “To help spread kindness and you can’t have enough of it of course. The more that we can teach our kids to be kind and to be kind to others, it’s just nothing more important than that.”

Throughout the month, they have made cards for vets at the Veterans Hospital, brought food to Great Plains Food Bank and will be making fruit bags for firemen and police.

Kellee Hann runs a daycare where these kids have been learning to be kind to others through the Kindness Elves program.
