Rally for Palestine held in downtown Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – As war rages on between Israel and HAMAS, rallies and protests have been held across the U.S. in support for Palestine and those in Gaza. One was held at Island Park on Saturday, which had over a hundred people who marched in downtown Fargo.

They were holding up signs that read, ‘Stop the Genocide’ and ‘Ceasefire’. The conflict started on October 7, and since civilians on both sides of the border have been caught in the middle of it. Despite the weather, they marched up Broadway and made their way back to Island Park.

“It is phenomenal. I never thought we would get this much. It snowed last night and it was a little slick this morning and this is amazing. It’s heartwarming, it is phenomenal.” said Sabriya Siddiqui, one of the organizers.

While the crowd was gathering, well-known white supremacist activist Peter Tefft was removed from the area. His presence was not well received.
