The Salvation Army hosts annual Christmas Toy Distribution
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Salvation Army of Fargo-Moorhead is making sure families with children don’t have to “go without” during the holidays.
The nonprofit is holding its annual Christmas Toy Distribution Monday and Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church in south Fargo.
Over the past few years, the event has provided toys and gifts for more than 450 area families.
Salvation Army’s Major Abe Tamayo says, “Just that the donations people make don’t just go for these presents, they fund meals, housing, all the other programs we do year round, so we appreciate the gifts and generosity of the community.”
Families complete a registration and are given a day and time when they can shop for toys and stocking stuffers for their kids.
The Salvation Army says it’s “devoted to ensuring that kids in our community have a joyful and memorable holiday experience.”
