City of Grand Forks in LEGO form
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – A tradition in Grand Forks continues, with the LEGO version of the city being displayed at the public library. The LEGO user group for the town put together a creative design that shows off different parts of Grand Forks, but in LEGO format.
As one kid exclaimed, there’s even a Happy Harry’s. According to the library, many people have come in to check out the large display, and they enjoy the kids and adults admiring the hard work.
“We’ve been seeing people in the library who maybe typically don’t think to come here. Also, our regulars they come in and enjoy. It’s been great. Actually, our door traffic has been a lot higher than it was even last year this time.” said Tonya Palmer, the information services supervisor at the library.
The display is up through this week.
