College administrator fired in sexual video scandal is married to former ND university vice-president
LA CROSSE, Wis. (KVRR/KFGO) – The wife of a Wisconsin university chancellor who was fired after it was discovered that the couple had made sexually explicit adult pornographic videos is a former college administrator at Dickinson State University.
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow was fired by the board of regents last week.
His wife, Carmen Wilson, was the provost and vice-president of student affairs at Dickinson State University from 2016 to 2019.
In 2019, Wilson was a finalist for president of Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota.
The couple married in 2014.
Gow and Wilson have appeared with adult film stars under the account name “Sexy Happy Couple.”
They also star on a YouTube channel called “Sexy Healthy Cooking” in which the couple cooks meals with porn actors.
The Board of Regents voted unanimously during a hastily convened closed meeting in late December to fire Gow.
He maintained that he never mentioned the university or his role in any of the videos and says the firing violates his free speech rights.
Gow had planned to retire as chancellor at the conclusion of the spring semester and transition into a teaching role.
But his tenure could also come under review.
