Feed My Starving Children Fargopack starts record breaking meal packing effort

FARGO, N.D., (KVRR)- The Feed My Starving Children Fargopack has started its record breaking meal effort. The nonprofit and volunteers throughout the red river valley have started to make meals for children around the world.

They have packed out the Fargo dome with over 40 truckloads of food and materials to make food packs.

Their goal is to make 10 million meals for children around the world and they are very thankful for the help the community is giving. Amy Okeson, Executive Director of the Feed My Starving Children Fargopack, said, “We are so grateful to the Red River Valley.”

Okeson also said, “We know that’s how we can help and reach this 10 million meal goal, with the help of the red river valley and it’s only going to be possible because of them, so we are very grateful for how they have come out so far.”

This effort goes through next Sunday. You can register to volunteer online at fargopack.org.
