UPDATE: North Dakota Highway Patrol identifies the semi driver as Shad Pederson of Bismarck.

STUTSMAN COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) – A semi driver has a medical event that caused him to veer off the road and crash into a guardrail in Stutsman County.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 52-year-old man from Bismarck was driving westbound in I-94, 6 miles west of Medina.
He had a medical event that caused him to lose control of his semi.
The truck went into the median and hit a guardrail.
The driver was taken to a Jamestown hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from the crash.

The crash happened just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
