A driver dies after a crash on I-29 near North Dakota/South Dakota border

RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) – A driver dies after a crash on I-29 near North Dakota/South Dakota border.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Honda Odyssey was driving northbound on I-29 near Exit 1 around 8:15 Friday morning.
The car left the road and hit a road closed barricade.
The car then went into a ditch and stopped when it hit supports for a highway sign.
The driver, a 59-year-old Fargo man, died at the scene. Authorities will release his identity on Saturday.
