GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A Grand Forks pet adoption center closes one of its locations.

In a post to social media, Circle of Friends Animal Shelter operated for the last day on Saturday.

Thankfully, the shelter was able to find homes for their 27 pets before shutting their doors.

They will now only operate out of their medical center on North Washington Street and will continue to do adoptions at that location.

The shelter is asking for moving trucks or trailers to help move items from the adoption center to the medical center.

In December, the shelter hosted a lock-in to raise money to stay open.

They had a goal of over one million dollars.
